Erik de Brun - Principal Engineer and Partner

Erik is a principal engineer and co-founder of Ripple Design. He has experience in the design, development, and manufacturing of products for commercial, medical, and defense applications. Prior to founding Ripple Design, Erik was an engineering technical lead and project manager at EDGE Product Development. At Edge, Erik focused on electro-mechanical system design, mechanism development, and structural mechanics.

Erik also worked at Boeing Rotorcraft as a control system designer/analyst and flight test lead for the V-22 Tiltrotor aircraft. Erik was involved in the design and testing of several critical control system software updates that helped the V-22 resume flight testing after an incident in 2000.

Erik has an M.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Princeton University.
